Killer Klowns is back in the Halloween rotation. The 1988 Chiodo Brothers film picked up new fans from the 2024 video game, and the alien clowns are a costume people search for again.
Dressing as one is two decisions: whose face you want (Slim, Shorty, Fatso, Jumbo, or Spikey), and how far you take it: a budget costume, or a screen-accurate mask over your own suit.

The jumpsuit is 100% polyester with a hook-and-loop closure down the back, bell sleeves, and elastic cuffs. Treat it as costume-grade, not heirloom.
The bundled mask looks like Slim, but if you want the screen-accurate face, the standalone full-head version below is the upgrade.
The standalone Fatso mask is the face that sells the costume: a full-head latex Klown, jowly and deep-creased, with a bulging nose and a wild red mane, for $79.99.
It’s a full pullover with openings at the eyes, nose, and ears, so plan on narrow vision and the warmth that comes with a full-head mask. That’s the trade for a one-to-one Klown face.
Trick or Treat Studios sculpts the genuine screen-accurate Killer Klown faces, and this is one of theirs: the studio’s licensed mold, not a costume-grade copy of it. The studio makes other Klowns’ faces too, Slim among them, and the Trick or Treat Studios-branded Slim mask is on Amazon.
Slim takes most of the shelf space, so if you want Shorty, Spikey, or Jumbo, this is the shorter route. Pure Costumes lists all four as licensed InSpirit Designs costumes (the character’s jumpsuit with that Klown’s mask) at $43.95 for adults and $38.95 for kids, in sizes S to XL.
Buy this one on the license: InSpirit Designs holds the Killer Klowns license, each listing names its character outright, and the mask ships in the box with the jumpsuit. Measure against the size chart before ordering.
Spirit Halloween is where the rest of the movie lives. The Cotton Candy Gun is $29.99 and lights up with audio lifted from the film. The Popcorn Gun is $99.99.
Its Shorty dress carries the widest size run on this page, S through 2X at $49.99, and it arrives as a finished outfit rather than a dress you then have to build around: the legwear, neckpiece and hair are all in the box. A Spikey jumpsuit is there in 2X as well, sold online rather than in stores.
Spirit also has stores, which matters for a costume you would rather try on than measure.
