Ennui is the deadpan French newcomer in Inside Out 2, the always-on-her-phone Emotion who can't be bothered to stand up straight.
She's the purest build in the set: no retailer boxes her, so the look is yours to assemble.
The look is almost entirely indigo.
Muted-periwinkle skin, a long curtain of straight indigo hair with blunt bangs hiding the eyebrows, and a matching sweatsuit slouched on like she rolled off the couch to get here.
So the decision isn't where to buy — it's which single piece you buy while pulling the rest from your closet.

Indigo sweatshirt + sweatpants + long straight indigo wig with bangs + muted-periwinkle skin makeup + gray socks
Build her — no costume comes in a box. An indigo sweatsuit, periwinkle makeup, and the anchor: a long, straight indigo wig with blunt bangs. That wig is the one piece worth buying; check cosplay sellers at season.

How to build it
The build — what to pull, what to buy
Ennui is a closet build with one exception. The indigo sweatsuit, the gray socks, and the slouch you already have or can thrift for a few dollars. A plain indigo pullover and matching sweatpants are the whole silhouette.
Two pieces do the actual character work. The first is the periwinkle skin. No one sells that shade in a pot, so mix it: Snazaroo’s Rainbow face paint kit at Michaels, $19.99, carries the sky blue, purple, white and black you need to pull a muted blue-purple cooler and grayer than a straight blue. Buy the kit rather than single pots here. The shade is a mix, and the kit is cheaper than the three pots it replaces.
The second is the anchor, and it’s the one piece worth buying new: Epic Cosplay’s Nyx wig in Midnight Blue, $41.99 direct from the maker. Long, straight, blunt bangs to the eyebrows — the cut costume-shop wigs don’t make.
That price is the cut, not the brand. Costume shops stock bobs and archetypes; the long, straight, blunt-banged cut Ennui needs is a cosplay shape, and cosplay lines start around $40. Cheaper wigs exist in the right blue — none of them in the right cut, which is why this is the one piece the build won’t let you economise on.
Pull the sweatsuit from the closet, buy the wig and the paint, mix the periwinkle, and the build is done.
One near-miss worth knowing about, because it will come up if you search. Disney Store sells a licensed Ennui pullover sweatshirt, and the garment is genuinely the right thing — an indigo top, which is what she wears. What’s wrong is what’s on it: the sweatshirt carries Ennui’s own screen art and an “Est. 2024” logo across the front, and she wears neither. It’s merch of the character rather than the character’s clothes, which is why it isn’t in the build above. A plain indigo pullover with nothing printed on it is the better buy, and the cheaper one — the closet or a thrift rack usually settles it.
Sizing & fit
The build: any size. A sweatsuit is forgiving by design: size the indigo pullover and sweatpants to a relaxed, slouchy fit rather than a tailored one, which suits the character’s posture.
The wig: one size, adjustable cap. Buy for length and the blunt-bang cut; most long cosplay wigs run a standard adjustable cap, so fit isn’t the variable: color accuracy and bang length are.
